Steam client calls Windows executable when attempting to launch a mod #2394

Upon installing a mod for both Goldsrc and Source games, the Steam client attempts to launch the modified games' Windows executable. This was reported previously here:

https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/960

This issue remains present with goldsrc mods. Opening a new issue because this is now affecting Portal and other Source engine games.

Both Goldsrc and Source games now launch mods that don't include binary files. No hack required. Calling fixed!
