I confirm the crash. It happens also in private games. From Awesomenauts logs, it is due to some prb with match making or account authentication This crash started after today update. We managed to play fine yesterday night with some friends (about ~10h ago).

You'll want to report this to the game developers also, as they need to make sure they're using a consistent set of Steam SDK headers and libs.
The second 5/30 client beta has a fix for this.
Awesomenauts runs fine as long as I do not click on Quick Match. As soon as I click on Quick Match the game crashes and Steam.
