Do you see any terminal output if you run it from one? Particularly, anything mentioning physicalsocket?
Most likely the same issue as #2532.
After a recent update any time I launch Guns of Icarus Online and join any match's lobby steam crashes and the game freezes. It was working fine earlier but I'm not sure if it was a steam client update or game update that broke it. System info: http://paste.debian.net/7569/
*Edit: I can start the game and create a practice match just fine so the engine seems to be working. My hunch is this is related to the voicechat connection that is enabled when joining a match lobby. Switching steam from pulse to alsa doesn't seem to matter though it still crashes.
