Steam not detecting CH Products USB Combatstick

  jstest-gtk recognizes and calibrates CH products combatstick and CH pro pedals. Steam only recognizes combatstick, pedals are absent, and cant configure combatstick and save. Tried 2 games with multi controller support through steam, Il2 1946 and X4 Foundations, and they don't see pedals either.

  /dev/input has USB controller files for both devices.

also tried with stable steam version, same thing.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. plug in USB game controllers
2. try to configure them on steam
3. or in games.

I am having the same issue, however it is only showing my combat stick and throttle, no pedals.

Do you need to have the ID's for these devices?
