Steam client version (build number or date): April 16th 2019
Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): Arch + bspwm
Opted into Steam client beta?: Yes
Have you checked for system updates?: Yes
Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
When closing steam while it's still syncing, steam will obviously open the "Finishing cloud sync" window. The problem is, with a window manager that changes focus when the mouse moves over another window, the window will make that well-known annoying sound.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Have a window manager with focus following mouse pointer enabled. (in bspwm: bspc config focus_follows_pointer true)
Close steam while syncing cloud saves.
Move mouse to other windows, go to another virtual desktop.
The window will play the sound (sometimes multiple times for no reason). Sometimes it will even take focus where it won't let me go to other desktops.
Easy fix would be to disable the thing taking focus in the first place.
