Your system information

Steam client version (build number or date): Version 1689034492 Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): SteamOS 3.4.8 (20230508.1) Opted into Steam client beta?: No Have you checked for system updates?: Yes

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Virtual radial menus stops working on Steam Deck after a few minutes unless you press the STEAM button or invoke Steam overlay. These menus are still visible but they don't activate any buttons. This issue occurs in all games that I've tested. Pressing the STEAM button will make it work again for a few minutes until it stops working once more. Flicking joystick in random direction makes the radial menu stop working almost immediately. This issue was also present in previous stable release of SteamOS.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Create radial menu
  2. Add few buttons
  3. Assign it to a joystick
  4. Set Radial Menu Button Type to Touch Release

Happens frequently for me in steam games on the steam deck and after doing a restart of the device it seems fixed each time.

Happens to me very frequently when running Battle.net. Only fix I found is restarting the Deck, which is very annoying. Would love to have a fix or an easier workaround
