AI can't see certain vehicles #39

Hello, I don't know what do to.

I run a PvE server with Tanks.

I took over the Server from another person, everything was ready and is now working.

Missions are good and stuff. But one problem:

AI's are not attacking Vehicles where they can't see the player.

For example: I'm in a LAV25_DZ. They don't see me, I can litterally drive them over and do the mission like that. If I choose to Turn Out, they instantly attack me with all firepower.

I Uploaded a Video but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to show it here. But that goes for all 'Tanks' wich the player can't be seen through a window or through the Turn Out modus.

I hope you can help me 'fix' this problem, so we can sell tanks again.

Arma AI will not attack vehicles with small arms (aka rifles) that they know they cannot damage. This includes most APC's, and Tanks. The only way you will be able to get them to engage an armored vehicle is by giving them a weapon capable of doing so like a launcher.

In DZMSConfig you can turn on the option for them to use RPG's which get removed when they die, otherwise they won't engage like you want them to.

Strange, I was playing on the Server before I took it over and there AI shot at every tank/vehicle.

Not even the M2 Gunners are shooting, they could do good damage to an LAV for example.

I just find it strange that it worked before and now it doesn't. All my players say the same, AI's shot at everything.

That does sound odd. Do you have a copy of the server RPT you can post on pastebin and link to?

I tried again, AI's are shooting with RPG at LAV25 but not with M2 Gunner for example.

No Error or anything in RPT, just messages of me cheating a LAV and TPing.

When I go with a M113 M2 Gunners shoot at me.

I guess its the Arma 2 AI system then, I'm just confused that on the Old Server AI's shot at everything. Sadly I can't get contact to the old owner.

Well, from my side it's done, let me know IF there is a way to let the AI shoot at any tanks.
