site theme randomly cycles on every page refresh, like npm randomly generates acronyms for npm, but the random cycle is:

  1. limited to 3 per 24 hours (sign up to unlock; later refreshes are still among the 3)
  2. associated w a public seed that the user can copy, share, or use to restore a particular theme combination
  3. user can click a lock toggle to freeze a theme in-place so it doesn't refresh
