Maybe just a note would do. The name of the file is VanillaOS-2-stable.20240805.iso and I think no need to change the file name (or other names). Instead, perhaps just add a note to the readme.md something like this:
The iso for VanillaOS020stable boots to a gui-installer that includes gparted, but does not provide a full desktop environment like some other "live-iso" images you may have used. However the Recovery menu includes a Web Browser, Console (terminal), etc as well as Docs and Handbook. The install requires an internet connection, so connect an ethernet cable if you can. That said, lots of wifi hardware works, including pci/broadomm and most linux-compatible usb dongles. The "Connection Checker" step will verify your internet connection.
(I tried to add this comment in discussion, but when I click "To Discus" button nothing happened.)
On a related note. Is there a version that actually has a Live ISO? I wanted to try this on one of my extra laptops but the wifi drivers didn't want to play nice enough to do the full install, which makes me wary of yolo-ing the install with an ethernet dongle.
The ISO does not have a live system of VanillaOS so the current name is confusing.
A better name would be "Installer ISO"
