Vanilla OS 2 - installer crash problem #419

I'm trying to install Vanilla OS 2 on my laptop, but no matter which option I choose from the GRUB menu installer randomly crashes and I'm not able to install it.

Worth to mention that I'm trying to install it on a machine that has Windows as dual boot, currently with OpenSuse Tumbleweed. Also, installing Vanilla OS in Virt Manager went without any problems.

I thought that that problem may be in ssd having a btrfs partition, so I went and formatted it to ext4. It almost went through, but crashed on the last step.

Do you mind doing the following:

  1. Boot up the installation ISO
  2. Press Alt+F2
  3. Type kgx
  4. Press enter
  5. A terminal window will pop up.
  6. If the installer app has already started, type pkill -f vanilla-installer
  7. The Installer app will close
  8. Then type in the terminal window, vanilla-installer
  9. Go through the install as normal
  10. Send us what the terminal says when the app crashes

What really makes me wonder is that it happens on random pages. Sometimes on page 4, sometimes on last page... Weird!
