Recognizing DOS vs. ProDOS ordered .dsk files #6

What steps will reproduce the problem?

I tried feeding OE some disk images to the Disk II drive. It looks like it
doesn't distinguish between sector orderings with files named .dsk. Or maybe
it only really recognizes .po and .do suffixes? What are the constraints on
the Disk II emulation so far?

ADTPro always creates DOS-ordered 140k disk images by default. The only
problem is... you've shifted the burden to the user to know 1) that sector
ordering exists, 2) that they need to know which order their image happens to
use - even if they didn't create it, and 3) potentially change something based
on that knowledge. Tools often start with your position (AppleCommander and
CFFA3000 did, for example) but eventually change based on user feedback.
Watch this space. ;-)
