Failing build due to macos/Python issues on Travis #55

Travis builds are suddenly broken on macos, most likely due to changes on their side. Apparently, Python is not officially supported on macos by Travis. See https://github.com/travis-ci/travis-ci/issues/9929.

[x] Work-around: allow_failures in .travis.yml for macos builds
[ ] Solution 1: Wait for Travis to fix this
[ ] Solution 2: Use homebrew (might take +10min per build)
