For some reason I can't get pkg-config to build. MacOS 14.4 fully updated system.

I guess that fact the pkg-config hasn''t been updated for something like 7 years and has a 10 year old version of glib built in has finally caught up with it.

looks like the latest versions of Xcode is breaking it, so probably Apple have enabled -Wint-conversion to error by default

I haven't got 14.4 installed yet, but this gets in working on 14.2 . Change the configure build function in build/build-pkg-config.sh too

Okay, I've done a full end to end compile and it all seems to work on 14.2 now.
