Hello. This definitely can be added. What information does a repeater provide which should be included in the integration? Unfortunately, I don't have any such device to check it by myself

This is not a special device, it's any of the Asus routers but set up as a repeater. Similar to how the router can be set up as an access point only, or part of a mesh. Repeater is just another mode that extends the WLAN to another area. You can find it under Administration > Operation Mode.

The main feature I'd like is presence detection from the list of connected devices. Some of the features you already offer can be found in repeater mode. Here's a list of some of them: button, sensors, update, CPU, LED, load, network, RAM, temperature, and WLAN. WAN works differently here, as it's the parent access point that the repeater is connected to, usually, you get which frequency, rate, and RSSI it has to this parent.

I'm running Merlin firmware on an Asus RT-AC68U, if you need any information to get this going, I'd gladly help.

Also, here's an official support page from Asus about repeater mode and how to enable it: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1036082/
