Hello. Are all your devices on the FW branch 3.0.0.4.388.x
?
If you don't mind, could you check the following:
Aug 10 11:49:44 rc_service: cfg_server 21778:notify_rc restart_wireless
(at least, there should be some rc_service
just after the time, the exact message afterwards might be different)
This would help with finding the issue faster
Thanks!
most of my router the same issue. disable 5g from website ui. system should load from 0%-100% then login to check . all 2.4g devices connection time has been reset . ax-89x firmware [3.0.0.4.388_32407] ax56u firmware [3.0.0.4.386_52303] tuf-ax3000 firmware [3.0.0.4.388_22525] tuf-ax5400 firmware 3.0.0.4.388_24121
all same . disable 5g , 2.4g lost connection and reconnect. the disalbe and enable 5g just like a fast reboot to asus router. all my asus devices are the same issue. and i am not sure if it has no such issue in router model all my asus are working in AP model
The problem
[Bug] when use this plugin to disable 5G wifi or enable 5G wifi ,all 2.4G device had to reconnect to AP again. I use PRI to judge an area if there has nobody in this area the 5G wifil will be shut down. and when PIR detected person into this area the 5G wifil will be enabled again. but when enable or disable this 5G wifi , the AP's 2.4G devices will be affected and need to reconnect to the 2.4G again. can fix this bug ? if I login asus website use website to disable 5G wifi , there has no effect on 2.4G
