9 months ago I believe this was a BetterEnd issue that was fixed in this PR.
I'm not sure that there's a working build for 1.20.1, though.

Issue description
it appears when going into the end, i get the book for better end. it cant be opened, placed on a lectern. nothing. :/ help please!
