Ok, so I have figured out that it is some other mod that is causing the overlapping. Still trying to figure out which mod it is. Any suggestions would be appreciated ;)
So I found the mod causing the issue. It is GalacticraftCore version 1.7-3.0.12.502. Possible way to fix it?
Well, Radfast decided to be... less than favorable. So perhaps @Vazkii will be able to make a 1.7.10 release with compatibility with the newest GalactiCraftCore version?
Sorry, but 1.7 is not supported.

@Vazkii So I set the "event.mainMenu=songname". Nevertheless, it will play the custom song, but the vanilla music will also start to play as well, just like in normal MC. I am using a Custom Main Menu and it would be nice to have a custom main menu song, however I can't do so if the two songs overlap.
Might be a duplicate of #6 Either way, it seems as though a15776c did not fix this issue.
My config looks like this:
`# Ambience Config
enabled=true
event.mainMenu=Archangels`
