2021E, 2020E, 2019M clients fail to load assets. (other clients works fine) #1

Here is an example of lt2 with the axe texture (the animation is not working either).

2021E:

2018M:

i tried:

switching wine version. i tried so far: vanilla wine 9.3, winetkg 7.1, winetkg 7.20, lutris-GE-Proton8-13.
installing/uninstalling DXVK
switching default render using fast flags (OpenGL, Vulkan and Direct X)

My hardware/setup:

RTX 3060 ti with proprietary drivers 545.29.06
13th gen I5 (Overclocked)
Pop OS 22.04 (Based on Ubuntu 22.04)

Does the same thing happen when you run rfd on a windows vm? (if so its not a wine issue)

No i don't have this issue with a windows virtual machine, at least not with the FD Launcher.

Does the developer console list anything? Usually issues with loading assets (i.e. incorrect file type/data) are listed in the developer console as an error on the client. You should see something like failed to load rbxassetid://...: <reason>.

except the issue of long sound effects and music failing (due to roblox privating all sound somewhere in 2023) I don't see any issue about loading resources. (not more than older clients)
