Upgrading (more than updating!) the mod to use the Mimic/Assist feature available in X4 v4.0+.
This should allow this mod to finally rest after coming a long way. It started from the not-so-successful Mining-Trading Fleet mod (MTF) researching a way for users to easily manage their traders and miners, with me voluntarily taking over revamping it, and this mod ended up as a somewhat well-known mod in the community, with EgoSoft itself coming in and implementing something similar to this mod.
A rough timeline to look back:
Mining Trading Fleet (MTF) is released as early as Dec 2018
MTF is abandoned (received no updates but remained incomplete)
I took interest in MTF
v1.0 is released as a direct fork of MTF (MTF did not have GitHub repo so this is not reflected)
v2.0 is released to add new UI buttons to form/join civilian fleets using Right Click API
v3.0 is released to liberate this mod from the often-unstable Right Click API (also includes anchor space renaming)
v4.0 is released to counteract EgoSoft's removal of the miner assignment in some scenarios, thus breaking the mod entirely
v5.0 is WIP to make use the Mimic/Assist feature available in X4 v4.0+
With the Mimic/Assist function unlikely to be changed by EgoSoft themselves, I can finally rest in peace as this mod continues its journey to the end of memory all by itself without my intervention.
Finally, this mod is complete. (At least for now.) I can rest assured that things will work until the end without supervision, and resume other things.
