Alpha test v0.6.7 #69

v0.6.7a0 is now available in the downloads list.

This is an early ALPHA of the new version. 

Changelog from 0.6.6 is:
 - Attack speed is configurable in preferences
 - Multiple save slots
 - Save slots will store the savegame on SD card
 - Completely new quest system (no new quests though)
 - Quest log, reachable from the player info screen
 - Combat automatically exists when not beside any monsters
 - "End combat"-button replaced by a "Flee" button
 - There is now a 20% chance that you will fail fleeing
 - Monsters will now attack if you stand next to them long enough. Not just if they happen to walk into you.
 - Increased protection when creating savegames
 - Friendly error message (instead of FC) if there is some error in the savegame file

Please test and report any issues that you find!

Also, I forgot to add the bug fixes that this release contains:
 - Monsters can no longer spawn on the same tile as the player
 - Conversation is now preserved when changing orientation of the device (landscape/portrait)
 - Double-levelup bug is fixed
 - Your amount of current AP is now preserved when changing orientation of the device, and when loading a savegame.

yet. The quests are however re-written completely, but contain the same steps 
and dialog as before. They should be automatically upgraded when loading an old 
savegame. Please check your quest log to ensure that your quest progress was 
upgraded correctly. That's one of the things I havent tested thoroughly yet.

What is your opinion on 0.6.7, should we release it to Android Market even 
without any new content, or should we wait until we have enough new maps and 
then release it?

There are some good changes in the alpha version already that makes the game 
partially better than 0.6.6 that currently is out on Market.

I think you should not release it on market. Some users might get upset if 
there is no new content. In the issue tracker here we discuss much about things 
the normal user sometimes wouldn't notice. Better wait 3 to 7 days and deliver 
it with new content.

Users that have problems or feature wishes will come to the forum anyway. Just 
provide an updated alpha or beta here.

IMO never provide an update without content. (Exceptions would be hotfixes or 
when the game is ready.)

Update on 0.6.7 : I have now made 25 new maps for 0.6.7. I think that should be 
enough for now. Maybe I'll find the time to make more of them.

Now I just need to fill them with monsters and quests, and then we can get 
0.6.7 into beta. Any time now :)

New quest log did not know I had spoken to the church priest in Fallhaven, 
which I had.

When entering the house east of the church in Fallhaven, there is a minor 
graphic issue. There is grass below the cabinets upon entering, move one spot 
and it becomes black, move again and its a combination of grass and black. 
Further movements remains all black.

I was able to sell the starter weapon (aka "Butter knife" :) twice by clicking 
"Sell" from Info-popup. No error found with other items, tested both items both 
from a stack and single (one item).
