Cruise attacking #86

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
I usually use my trackball for moving around and have noticed that if I run
into monsters with force I sometimes can score hits before I have to confirm
the attack. At most I have managed to get one missed attack and two not enough
APs in one go.

Yes, this is a bug. Thanks for reporting it.
It should be solved with v0.6.7b1.

Could you please reverify with v0.6.7b1 to confirm this bug is solved?

Same here. I no longer can reproduce it (v0.6.7b1).

The fix kinda ruined trackbakk navigation though so now I'm running around like
a drunkard again. Is it possible to tweak it a bit to allow faster walking?

Trackball navigation should be the same speed as moving with touchscreen. Now
they even use the same codebase (they didn't before). If we change the movement
speed, it will have to be for all movement types. Maybe in a later version, but
for now, this movement speed will stay.

I too miss the old trackpad movement. Could you make it a preference?
Travelling long distance is annoying now. Also I can no longer wait for a
townsperson to vacate the street and then rapidly zip past them.
