I am currently trying this plugin to Elvui I have noticed a behavior that I don't believe is intended.
I am playing with 80% alpha on my Backdrops and I've included that alpha on the buff highlight, the issue is when the buff drops and the highlight drops as well the general backdrops lose the 80% alpha and become fully solid. A reload to the game makes the backdrop regain the original alpha.

So, before buff highlight the party frame has an opacity of 80%, during buff highlight it keeps that opacity (because i defined it that way on the color selection) but after the buff highlight the party frame becomes completely solid in color.
