XSOverlay reading the status of the user profile

for say i want to be on do not disturb, shouldn't xsoverlay plugin follow? because its increasingly frustrating when im in vr and the plugin still shows things i want to check later or not at all, i dont want to re enable and disable the plugin each time or not use xsoverlay. i want the plugin to follow my status changes. thats it.
