Plugin that completely hides DMs from muted users

Plugin Description

I want to be able to make it so when I mute a friend/user, their DMs won't pop up at the top again when they send something else if I close the DMs altogether. I don't want to have to block them completely, just take a break from their existence for a while. I assume it would need to be something that automatically closes the DMs again when a new messages shows up, I realize it wouldn't really work for mobile though.

yes I searched for existing plugins, and looked briefly for similar issues already. I can read, I frequently check for new plugins as well, my bad that I lost attention for 2 seconds I guess despite reading the rest I guess.
