Better Channel Notifications (??)

Plugin Description

Good morning! I have thought of a possibly helpful plugin, based upon using the DM notifications but as "server notifications". I hope that makes sense.

I tried to do this with the favorites tab bar feature, but it's not the same. It has the same issues: you have to click on the star icon to see all the channels you favorited. Why can't it pop up underneath it?

Usage:

It would be easier to go straight to the notification instead of clicking the servers icon and going through the channels to find the notification - it's just rather annoying. Especially if you have folders, a lot of channels, or are in many, many servers. So just a shortcut to it.

Option 1:

Have all notifications be centered in one box like 'favorites' plugin and it's always open but optional to closing, just like the servers. Just 10 times easier.

Option 2:

Have it just open up underneath the discord icon just like the DM notification.

Possible issues:

The only issue I have with this is if you have a BUNCH of servers and its just overwhelming. So one would have to go through their servers and mute/unmute the ones they don't need or want. Since I believe automatically doing that is self botting. But I, personally, only have a few servers to look over and I'm sure others do as well.
One could say you could use the actual notification pop up on your PC, but a lot of the time I don't click those and sometimes you're not always online to do so, as you're occupied, and still can't click it.
Possibly similar to the in discord notification pop up plugin but I think that's just annoying when I'm trying to click something, then click the notification instead and it's not permanent.
Inbox button is out of the way and has the same problem, so that's a no.

I am unsure if this is possible or not, and if it is worth giving a try.

(Sorry for all of these replies) However, like I said before, the favorites tab is ALMOST there, but it doesn't show which channel I'm getting notifications from underneath it, like I said here:

It has the same issues: you have to click on the star icon to see all the channels you favorited. Why can't it pop up underneath it? (Like the dms/dm group notification you get from it). This would greatly help people if they have a lot of channels in multiple groups. & Inbox button is out of the way and has the same problem, doesn't show the notification nor is there a red dot next to it at the very least. On top of that the inbox doesn't adhere to the muting of servers. So that's a no as it covers over multiple important notifications (By this point I should just remove it all together with how utterly useless it is).

My issue is that every time I close discord, which is a lot, it doesn't take me straight to favorites tab and sometimes I forget about it all together, case in point, forgetting the notifications. Its annoying to have to click the icon favorites to see what notifications I am getting in the first place, then search through my groups to find which channel its from. I can't place it out of their group or else it gets overwhelming with the amount of channels I have favorited already, a lot of which aren't very active in the first place but are still important. There you could just mute the channel and still have the most important ones popup underneath.

But it seems its a bit niche, as I feared, which is completely understandable. Apologies, I do not mean to sound rude. ^^<3

it really isnt "out of the way", frankly, its actually placed pretty nicely.

That's your preference, not mine ^^. I personally believe its out of the way, since its on the whole other side of the screen. This is my opinion.

Again, please read! I already stated my problem in the last reply. :]
