Dementia Runes Rework #235

All the previous rune invoking abilities are now gone. The way the spell would now work is you have a thick ring around the caster when they enter into the "invoke runes" mode. https://i.gyazo.com/0efc0589e604fcd45a1aae72e9312662.gif

On the ring there would be a random sequence of 5 different rune types. The original 3 would be there. Lez, Plague rune; Nel, Ice rune; and Ka Fire rune. In addition there would be two new rune types. Light and Darkness. The light and darkness runes are going to be bonus and negative effects.

As the ring runes spin around the user will have an ability to the runes from spinning there by granting them the rune that the indicator landed on (similar to Crystal Madien's wheel in this current international)

Once the rune is landed on it appears over the users head.

The user does this up to 3 times in a row.

Each of the three runes will show over the users head.

They must complete this 3 times to determine what type of spell is invoked from the scribed runes.

With each rune that is scribed, the wheel then resets and another random sequence of runes appear. And the wheel spins faster.

Each spin the runes value is worth more (+1 value). The light runes add an extra point per ring and the darkness rune would take away points.

For example if you get 3 fire runes it would be worth as such: KA(1) KA(2) KA(3) = KA(6) [fire damage 25x6) If you got KA(1) KA(2) and LEZ(1) it would give you a spell that is KA(3) and LEZ(1) would give you firedamageka(25x3) + lezslow 15%x1 and lezdot 15damagepertickx1)

Once the runes are invoked they last until the user either uses them or dismisses them (long cooldown)

It should be. I haven't made the runes yet but the ring should be under incantate

We are still going for 3 runes + 2 at random, right? No Light/Dark runes

No light and dark. You were correct in saying it was too much hehe

New Dementia Runes Ability Flow:

  1. Use the main ability
  2. Spells visible: Start, deactivated Stop and deactivated rune single target spell. You keep the rune spell for 45 seconds, dementia runes has 60 second cooling off after its used.
  3. Use Start ability
  4. 5 Runes are randomly created (at least one of each of the 3 types) and rotate around the caster
  5. Use Stop, a rune will be chosen based on the position of the spinning particle/runes
  6. Back to 4. until you have used Stop 3 times.
  7. After the 3 runes are defined, the rune spell is activable
  8. Spell will have an effect based on the runes acquired (seen as modifiers in the buff bar)

Toggling Dementia Runes off/on can be done at any point (no cooldown) The Start button has 60 second coooldown The Stop button is only activable after Start The Spell is consumed after usage (goes back to deactivated form)

Effects are kinda hard to show on tooltip but go as follow: x1, x3, x6

Numbers can be tweaked

All is perfect the only thing is the ring spins a bit faster each time
