Cleaner versioning and commits, plus auto generated changelog. #12

How about adopting Semantic Versioning (I'm guessing you're already using it if were honest), and conventional commits

Might be a bit of a stretch but I figure it might help get some cleaner commits and automate generating changelogs with something like git-cliff (which I think you could do with actions).

Seems like a good idea. Will try to adapt them as quickly as possible. Although, I'd still like to write the changelog by hand. It's basically only for the description on new releases.
