JES not responding on Macbook air 2013 #67

I recently installed JES 4.3 for Mac version on my Macbook Air 2013, the 
software opens normally but every time I type "def" to create a new function , 
the software just stupidly FREEZES that I just can't do anything on JES ( other 
applications in the mac work fine )

Have you installed Java?  All I can imagine is that you don't have Java for 
MacOS installed.

Yes , I have installed Java for Mac OS, after the installation finished , I 
restarted my Mac , then opened JES again , but still the same thing happens
I have also tried to reinstall the whole OS Mavericks system again but JES 
still doesnt work
