Description:

To increase the visibility and accessibility of our GitHub Sponsors program, we need to incorporate the GitHub Sponsors image on our Donor page. This would help drive more sponsorship through GitHub and let our community know that we have an active GitHub Sponsors program.

Proposed Change:

  1. Acquire the GitHub Sponsors image, ensuring it is of a suitable resolution for desktop and mobile views.
  2. Implement this image on the Donor page of our application with an embedded link directing to our GitHub Sponsors page.

Expected Behavior:

Once implemented, visitors to the Donor page should see the GitHub Sponsors image. Upon clicking this image, they should be redirected to our GitHub Sponsors page.

Current Behavior:

Currently, the Donor page does not display the GitHub Sponsors image.

Priority:

This enhancement can be considered a medium-priority task as it can help increase our GitHub Sponsors program visibility and potentially drive more sponsorships.

Additional Information:

It's essential to ensure that the placement and sizing of the GitHub Sponsors image align with our existing UI design and do not hinder the user experience on the Donor page. Also, the link should open in a new tab to keep our application open in the user's browser.
