Depending on your platform and preferences, you can use a systemd service, a system V init script, supervisord and so on.
I don't see the need for hls-proxy to have any built-in "service" support.
I'm running hls-proxy on remote server so I need to make it running in the background but nevermind i found another solution. thanks.
how to run as service ?
