Why is not working? The Hyperion or Prismatik was working. image

On the list appears only my PC as valid it.

Victoare commented 3 months ago

The app tries to bint to the IP and it failed. This IP is the machine's address that runs the app (not the wled itself)

Andro-Marian commented 3 months ago

Why you show it anyway if it's the server IP...

Or change it to Server IP, not Local IP. And make it read-only.

It's not good to send to all Local IP range to sync.

Sadly is not working good. I need to reset the ESP every time I open the software. And no way to change the sensitivity / volume. Leds animation is too fast.

Why is there an editable IP field: If there is multiple NIC are present (virtual or real) then you have to be able to select the one connecting your LAN. It will try to auto-detect the correct IP if the field is left empty. Also it will auto-complete with all the valid IPs found on your system.

Hover help

"It's not good to send to all Local IP range to sync.": Wled uses UDP broadcast. That is how it works. The app did not send packets to each and every IP in the LAN. Clients have to subscribe to the broadcast and the router will forward them the packets.

I don't know what ESP are you using but for now you are the first who need to reset every time using the app.

Sensitivity/volume : Yupp. that is intentional. If it will be asked by multiple users then I will consider adding them.

Animation speed: The app has no control over that.

The devices are going to IDLE random and not receiving the sound anymore, for some reason. Even if I close the server the device still is in IDLE.

Strange. If I read it right, then if you restart the server (like proper "Exit" or "Stop server and exit" and start again) the modules stays in IDLE and not reacting to the music anymore. What about restarting the whole machine (where the server runs)? If that don't solve the issue, then there is some network anomaly down the line.

Also what happens if you restart the idling module without restarting the server/machine?
