[Suggestion] TGA instead of PNG #2

The art looks really nice so far, but could be a good thing to convert the textures to TGA.

Just did a quick look around at TGA vs PNG for textures, but i see a mixed bag of information on that. Is there a reason that TGA is the better choice?

Per http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/25241-0-22-B9-Aerospace-Pack-R4-0c-New-pods-IVAs-engines-fuselages-structures?p=517013&viewfull=1#post517013

"The issue with TGA vs PNG is that KSP also loads that data into system memory and, as was discovered with the FusTek Station Parts Expansion Pack, the compression does matter there. Video cards seem to handle the texture data well enough regardless of size, but the 3.7gb RAM limit KSP has to work with is a bit more unforgiving if you're running a number of parts packs."

Come to think of it, I may have gotten things backwards. Have to do soem experimenting with TGA vs PNG of images to see which is 'smaller' in RAM. Hrmm I use the texture compressor mod anyways, so I don't imagine it really matters. Just noticed a spike in memory usage with the dev build of Biomass, figured it could be the image format.

cool, thanks for the info!
