Bug: Icon shows up as rectangular box

Describe the Bug/Issue I think there's supposed to be an emoji or icon or something instead of the rectangular box I see on my screen? I've highlighted in red on the screenshot. I see that I can click on these boxes and it'll take me to the vikelabs website

Looks like an issue with the browser itself or the version rather than CourseUp itself -- are you still seeing this issue with the current browser version you're running?

I'm still seeing it. I should mention that I see a hand icon appear briefly before it turns into these two squares. I tested this on Chrome and Edge as well and still saw this issue.

Looks like it might be OS dependant? It shows up as boxes in the code too. Windows 8.1

Yeah it seems to be OS-dependent, this is what I'm seeing on macOS ventura
