I'm not sure this is something we'd be able to support officially, but there's
no reason you couldn't supply the gem yourself and upload it wherever, so long
as you comply with the SlimDX license (which is to say, if you redist the DLLs
you need to redist the license notice as well).
As for the .NET versioning issue: we do supply two different assembly versions
-- this is more-or-less necessary due to changes in the assembly loading
process for .NET 4. So you'd probably need two gems as well.
As for crediting, the author should be "The SlimDX Group" (using
support@slimdx.org as the email) and the description can just be the first line
of our project description: "SlimDX is a free open source framework that
enables developers to easily build DirectX applications using .NET technologies
such as C#, VB.NET, and IronPython."

Just created the gems, the licence informations are included in the gem.

Version 2.0.10.43 is for .net 2.0 of June 2010 release.
Version 4.0.10.43 is for .net 4.0 of June 2010 release.
