Feature Description

Migrate the existing HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP project to Next.js to leverage server-side rendering, improved performance, and modular components. The migration will occur in parallel with ongoing development to avoid disrupting current contributions.

Implementation Plan

Create a Separate Folder:
- Set up a nextjs-migration folder in the repository to house the Next.js project. Allow both the Next.js version and the original HTML/CSS/JS project to coexist without affecting each other.
Development Approach:
- Migrate components, pages, and styles into Next.js incrementally, referencing the HTML/CSS/JS files to maintain functional and visual consistency.

Tech Stack Difference

Current Stack: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, PHP and MySQL
New Stack: Next.js(React-based framework with server-side rendering and routing), Tailwind CSS (for styling), MongoDB, and integration with modern tooling and build optimizations.

Benefits

Improved Performance: Server-side rendering and static generation will reduce load times.
Enhanced SEO: Next.js improves SEO with server-rendered pages.
Modular Codebase: Next.js enables reusable, maintainable components for a more scalable codebase.
