Got Error 70 in Canon 650D Rebil T4i #269

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Turn on
2. When I went to the LCD display mode to view the image to take snap. It
throws Err 70.
3. Turn off and on again or remove and reset the battery. Tried but still got
the same error 70

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It should display the image field. But it displays the Error 70.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Canon 650D Rebel T4i.

Please provide any additional information below.
I was taking photographs on a Lazer show, suddenly this error occured and
unable to take snaps further. As I see some instructions in forum I tried to
clear the S2 and S3 video settings. I don't know how to clear that. Please Help.

Same issue here
Err 70 no matter what I do
Reset to default settings
Enabled pictures without card
Tried Magic Lantern settings changes
QDSLR Dashboard - changed all the file types

Nothing works
This is some trash programming on Canons part
Canon's error codes do not line up with reality

If anyone knows either how to truly factory reset the t4i to factory defaults
or has access to white paper level data I can at least try to interpret the
laundry list of error codes in my debug files or flat out reset this door stop
before I give in and spend $$$$ on a 70D

Not happy

As far I know the Err 70 will popup if there is some image format problem on
camera. I also have a 650D here but never had that problem. But I also read
somewhere that it could be related to sdcard issues.

Yes I tried to change the display settings and the S1 and S2 image settings. No
options available to change the image settings. I tried removing and re seating
the SD card still remains the same. Error message popsup even without SD card.
I contacted Canon Service Centre they diagnosed and said the CMOS Sensor went
bad and need to be replaced. It will cost Rs. 19000 + tax. I Don't know what to
do. It was purchased in Canada and that warrant won't work here.

Hii there if you are getting error 70 on the canon camera then may be it is
because of the memory card issue and any other reason. In the process of fixing
it you can lose your favourite images. You can restore them by using any backup
or you can use a recovery tool that can automatically remove it. To know more
about it you can visit :
