Feature Request: Sequence of images #275

Please provide any additional information below.

Hi, I'd like to be able to set up a sequence of images with different exposure
times & settings...

Is this achievable with the time lapse functionality? I don't have an Arduino
and I can't figure out what the LRTimelapse thing does at all!

Not sure I understand your question but here is info about the LRTimelapse
screen: http://dslrdashboard.info/lrtimelapse-screen/
Also a nice tutorial from Gunther: http://lrtimelapse.com/gear/dslrdashboard/

So, I would like to create a script that takes a sequence of images - as an
example:

Expose for 1/50th second, ISO 200, repeat for 20 shots, 5 second interval
Pause 60 seconds
Expose for 1 second, ISO 800, repeat for 20 shots, 1 second interval
Pause 60 seconds
Expose for 5 seconds, ISO 1600, repeat for 20 shots, 1 second interval
Pause 0 seconds
Expose for 10 seconds, ISO 1600, repeat for 20 shots, 0 second interval

Something along those lines. I am preparing for a solar eclipse trip in 2017
and am looking to automate the imaging sequence as the moon passes in front of
the sun, and then when it covers the sun.

Right now there is no scripting (maybe in future version).
Not sure if you can do 0-1 second interval with an application as the camera
needs time for processing after capture, in my test the min interval that I
could work was ~3 sec. Depends on camera model and SD card used.
