question: is "live view only" possible (controls stay at camera, dslrdashboard shows only liveview output) #71

i am wondering if it is possible to use dslr dashboard in "slave mode", which 
the button on the top menu suggests ("host mode"); though this button seems not 
be changeable.

any ideas? is this generally possible?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Nikon D800e, Samsung Galaxy Nexus

No, as soon camera enters live view (in PTP mode) it disables the shutter 
release button.
