UWP app for Windows 10 #13

Hey, isn't this app supposed to be a Windows app? Why isn't it there for all Windows 10 editions? Why is it only on phones?

Also, drop the 8.1 from the name. Put something else. @ayushagarwal95 will help you come up with a name for the app.

And will it work on Xbox and other Windows 10 devices? I sure as hell want a notification that I'll get debarred if I don't attend class when I'm playing Fallout 4 on the Xbox One.

Okay, coming to the name first, I've finally got the VITacademics name reserve. But, right now we are using Sid's account, and I would really like to migrate this to a CollegeCode account on the Windows store. This has obvious benefits that personal login credentials won't have to passed on to juniors, and that it will be more professional.

@ayushagarwal95 has said that he will talk to Sendhil sir for permission. Once the account is ready, I'll migrate the app and rename it. Let further discussion on the renaming be moved to #14.

P.S. There were a couple of issues with updating and renaming the app, some internal changes in the Store and some with country formatting (ironed them out a few weeks ago). That is why nothing could be done about the name so long.

@aneesh-neelam : Okay so the basis first -

  1. Windows 10 has not released for mobiles, and the preview version is buggy (of course) and very few have it. Windows 10 for PC is still half-half, but people are slowly migrating.
  2. Windows 8.1 apps are seamlessly forward compatible with Windows 10, and the other way around is not possible.

My plan of action -

  1. Polish and release the last few features of Windows 8.1 Phone - these people are my entire market right now.
  2. Simultaneously, start work on the Windows 10 UWP - so this covers every Windows device (majorly phone and desktop). This will be handled along with @bitloks. Even if Windows 10 app takes 1-2 months, no users will have any issues, as reasoned above.

Is this okay? I'm skipping development for Windows 8.1 desktop. They should update to 10 soon.

@aneesh-neelam Btw I was serious when I asked how Fallout 4 is. I noticed they even made a separate Pipboy app for it.
