Hide keyboard when viewing recipe #28

[edit… after importing a recipe for the first time, all of the below is resolved. Also, that step exposed the Grocery List, Recipes and Search buttons at the bottom of the screen — which I had been struggling to find. So something was up, but it’s no longer an actual problem for me]

I notice that when viewing recipes on my iPhone, the keyboard is visible and takes up half of the screen. Would be great to have it hidden in this context.

I also notice this in the “Cookbooks” view. In some situations on this screen, the keyboard blocks full access to all available categories. (for reference, I have 15 categories in this view)

Thank you for your feedback! Good to see your issue resolved, but the app still should not display the keyboard/hide the grocery list when there are no recipes, this is something I'll look into.

Great! In my case, I had recipes in my Nextcloud before I installed the app on my phone. The app pulled these down when I connected to the server. The keyboard was present on most/all screens until I used the app to add a recipe. After that, it disappeared.

The same thing happened when I installed the app on my wife’s iPhone yesterday.

Hm, ok. Could you tell me what iPhone and iOS Version you use? This can help me to replicate your issue.

I’m on an iPhone 15 with iOS 17.6.1 My wife is on a 13, same iOS version
