Implement a defensive block which electrocutes any entities that comes in contact with the said block. The block acts similar to a fence in terms of being placed and can be turned on or off by letting Redstone power flow through the fence.

A great example of an electric fence design would be the base fence with wire as its connector thus, thinning the horizontal wooden connector and changing it to a copper colored one would suffice. This would also allow copper to have another purpose instead of sitting in your chests or barrels to oxidize by themselves.

The unshielded cables in TechReborn (bare wires) have the same effect as an electric fence when powered, something to look in to far in the future when it can be overpowered by an industrial mod to lethal levels.
