ViaLactea Visual Analytics combines different types of visualization to analyze correlations between different kinds of data, such as 2D intensity images with 3D molecular spectral cubes.

It is proposed that the data inventory box is extracted from the display window and is made into a separate window. In this way it can be used also if the initial query or the initial display is from a local image or datacube loaded by the user.
