E-Learning Platform Development

Project Overview

This project focuses on developing an e-learning platform with additional features not present in existing platforms.

Your Role

1. Clone the repository and run the project.

2. Install the necessary packages using npm install.

3. Start the application using npm start.

4. Once started, sign up and go to the dashboard, where you can find the button for Pro Feature 2.

5. Run the app.py file in the backend folder using the command:

   python app.py

6. Upload a PDF file; the content for the quiz will be generated using the Gemini API and will appear in the terminal of the backend server. Copy this content and create a quiz.html file to render it visually.

What Needs to be Done

• Create a user-friendly UI to upload a PDF file with a visually appealing background.
• Ensure the UI is responsive and adjusts to the window size.
• Once the file is uploaded, generate a quiz on a new page with 10-15 random questions around the uploaded topic using the Gemini API.
• Each question should provide explanations for both correct and incorrect answers.
• At the end of the quiz, show the quiz score.
• (Optional) Display the questions answered incorrectly, along with content to help the user learn that particular topic and improve in the next test.
