What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Galactic chart
2. Attempt to select two different systems within 10 parsecs of each other.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
With the systems being so close together on the Galactic chart, we need some
way to select specific systems and to see which is selected.
I already submitted an ER to have the selected system highlighted, so let's
assume that is in place.
It is very frustrating to click repeatedly on the galactic chart trying to find
that hidden hi-tech system. Now to handle the problem of exactly selecting
systems that are within 10 parsecs of each other I can imagine 3 approaches:
a) Next and previous buttons on the galactic chart.
I could also imagine next / previous buttons on the galactic chart to help
cycle through systems. The trick with this approach is you'd have to index the
systems "smartly" so the next button moves the selection in a reasonable
direction (not to the next system alphabetically)!
b) Jumbo sized galactic chart (It's a galaxy afterall!)
Perhaps doubling the area of the galactic chart and making it scrollable is an
easier choice. I understand the need to maintain the squareness of the chart
to allow the range circle to be drawn.
c) Zoomable galactic chart
This issue could also be alleviated by making the galactic chart "zoomable" but
that sounds even harder to me.
Zoom in (+) / Zoom out (-) buttons seem reasonable since not all phones have
multi-touch.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Remember guys, these are enhancement requests. The game is very playable and a
ton of fun as it is.
