changes to run a fork #6

Hi Bishisht ..

I am surprised you merged the PR with it having a failing Travis check.

I am working to fix that failure .. it requires all the tests to pass.

( this is double work for me bcause .. I have my fork working and tests passing but .. wanted to clean up the master unto itself. )

I am going to be working to get to the point I can merge the master and my fork.
