Simulate button unresponsive #76

In the BSP version, hitting the Simulate button doesn't necessarily produce the popup window, although in output terminal you see that the simulations are running.

This is now fixed by implementing a sim status window in a4f3cbbdc6ad75027921311c0c12f2ad193c57ee
