With High Contrast Text-based Form Elements are inverted no matter what the High Contrast setting is

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set the default color scheme of High Contrast to Normal
2. Visit a non-Google site with text boxes set to the default color
3. http://www.quirksmode.org/js/formex.html is a good example

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The text boxes should be black text on a white background (as confirmed by 
disabling the extension), Instead they are grey text on a black background.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Chrome Version 26.0.1410.43 beta-m, High Contrast version 0.5, Windows 7 32-bit 
SP1 Version 6.1.7601
