Why use remote control? #1

Hi. Very nice idea. I follow you. Why keep the remote to transmit signal in school mode? Why don't use only a LoRa module tx/rx? Mixing and others could be manage and config by flight controller? And so only need to transmit signal for each axis to it.

Hi, thanks for the comment, i appretiate it. The reason I'm planning on using remote as a middle man is versatility. Someone uses frsky, flysky, frsky + xf and I personally use ELRS. So it would be best to just transmit right into quad, but the project would focus on smaller group of people compared to using the trainer port which is in almost all remotes.

This is going to be my graduate project so I have motivation to finish it.😀 What are your thoughts about it? Would you keep the display or make it cheaper and smaller with just esp8266 and an OLED? Greetings, Vit

If there is tunings on the stick, you must have a screen to watch them. You did the same wiring diagram I was thinking. It's the most simple. You can't do less. Screen isn't mandatory part at the beginning. Whatever if you connect it to rc. Code will be the most difficult part of your project😁. I will study your soon. But I would like to add autonomus tx module. LoRa certainly.

All right, thank you for the thoughts. I had a small break for exams, but I'll work on the code very soon again, once it's all working and I'll be able to test it and think about other features such as lora ;) Stay tuned
