Mediatek D1200 Mali GPU based android 12 handheld (Ayaneo Pocket Air).

Tested on Vita3K releases 8 and up to latest.

Used Wipeout 2048 PCSA00015 and PCSF00007.

Used GPU Memory Mapping method set to Double Buffered.

Shows Sony Computer Entertainment Presents screen, then loading, then Studio Liverpool. Then Vita3K exits. There is an android notification that the App has stopped but it isn’t persistent and I only saw it because I captured a video of the attempt to start the game.

Any suggestion to get more useful information to you can be followed up.

memory management set to disabled (as advised for other Mali issues) crashes out earlier.

Performance on other working titles (TxK, Ridge Racer, Mortal Kombat for example) is superb so this is a great emulator. Brilliant work!

Quick update - just tried Vita3K Release 11. Same issue using Vulkan renderer. If I select OpenGL, no crash. FPS displays but there is no game display, only audio. FPS shows 60. Settings report the GPU as Mali-G77 MC9.

Tried OpenGL on Street Fighter too because Vulkan on Mali corrupts text on screen (game plays fine though). Same black screen but FPS and shader notifications display. So is OpenGL broken generally on Mali?

Having the same issue with the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro here. Would love to be able to play WipeOut 2048 with the device.

I am having the exact same issue on a Poco X6 Pro. Works fine on my redmi pad 6 with the snapdragon 870 though.
