This incredible game suffers from abysmal slowdowns and low fps. Maybe the fastrom project can help make this game more playable.
Funny thing is, the original programmer for the snes port Rebecca Heineman first ported the game to the Super-FX chip but was denied use of it due to cost of said chip. Then she asked for Static RAM chips but was also denied due to cost. She then went for FastROM and got 30fps in-game... But she had to use SlowROM in the end due to, you guessed it, cost.
So looks like the game could greatly benefit from FastROM i guess?
